Going Green - Promotional Tote Bags

Groceries have been giving out promotional tote bags to their patrons as an active participation of the green revolution and marketing scheme. Recyclable tote bags are now being hip and trendy - helping to minimize the use of plastic or brown paper bags to wrap what you choose to buy in the grocery aisles. Before, tote bags of this type were limited to the usual green-hued types and simple designs. Now, with the help of creativity and fiber technology, promotional tote bags come in different design and function beyond the grocery shopping. Some malls and small companies have been giving them out to their customers and employees as advertising ads also. The printed logos on the tote bags are one of the best selling items for any corporation in any industry now.

I Used to Read More Books in my Spare Time

My father used to read books. He taught me to read books when I was in the fifth standard. He joined me as a member in the library and made me to read more books by giving subscription money to the library. When i started to read books, I was not so interested, but after reading some more books written by excellent authors like balakumaran, sujatha, shiv khera, and chase books I was so excited. I could not able to keep the book down, I will forget myself and i do not need food, sleep etc.

Give Unique Signature Bridal Shower Favors

Celebrating and giving out bridal shower favors are two of the main ingredients in a typical modern bridal shower party. A night out with the girls as a single woman should be made memorable and meaningful. Most of the time these type of parties are celebrated with the most intimate circle of female friends that has been with you in your life. These close knitted friendships usually have anxiety loosing one of their most valuable single member and so the party is designed to reassure that the friendships you have with your pals do not end with your marriage. Giving them your signature party favors that can remind all of you of your friendship could be a good idea - like friendship rings, trinkets, and many more.

Exercise can be something very easily achieved as part of your regular daily routine. Find something you enjoy doing, whether it’s playing tennis or walking, biking or doing yoga. Whatever your body is craving may be accomplished without any huge expense of time or materials. Certainly sports and fitness can part you with your money, but if you are creative, you may use inexpensive items to create your own workout that increases your flexibility without creating unattainable goals.  Exercise is very important to me, and it should be to you as well.

Large Cities

Large cities have such cultural awareness that you need to enjoy your fellow inhabitants of the Earth. Culture comes to large cities in the form of foods, places of worship, dress, and customs. In major United States cities, you can sample a bit of most every country if you only just seek it out. Learning new ideas and foods is a great way to not only learn, but to embrace the differences and the similarities of people. Parades are also a great cultural outlet that allow everyone to learn and to enjoy life and all that it has to offer.

Funny Wedding Cake Toppers

Wedding cake toppers have become so customized nowadays for wedding cakes that most of these cake decorations reflect the married couple. Some wedding cake toppers are made in either ceramic or plastic materials that can be molded into figures and mini-statues that resembles the couple in their habits, hobbies, or natural selves. Some cake baker also often create caricatures of the wedded couple in fondant or boiled icing items that can become funny but symbolic. Most couples are no longer limited to the generic cake toppers for weddings found in the grocery aisle. Truly, the evolution of these cake decors are remarkable as more couples are able to afford the items to be able to brand their wedding cake as their own.

I do a lot of cooking

I do a lot of cooking, and most meals include some sort of meat with soup or a salad. The grill sits outside the kitchen door, so most entrees come from on the grill. I had purchased a standing rib roast, and thought it would taste great on the grill, so I set the flame on low, and let the meat slowly roast. It took a good hour plus for a four pound roast to get fully cooked, but when I set the roast on the table and cut it, the juice just poured out of the meat. The roast was very tender, and everyone agreed that it had a great flavor.

Wedding Fans Are Not Only For Asian Wedding Themes

Have you ever noticed that most wedding fans are given as favors in Asian wedding themes? This is the common notion for these fans for favors but this should not be limited to this wedding theme. In the eighteenth century, fans have been rampantly used in most Victorian influences all across the globe. Functional and decorative, fans are both practical and artistic to anyone at any given wedding theme. Depending on the main theme of the wedding, you can customize the design on the fans to suit the theme that you have planned. No need to look for another item for a practical wedding favor. Just make sure that you have an alternative set for the gentlemen and ladies separately so no awkward favors fall in to the intended recipients. Be creative and dressed up the fans according to your actual wedding theme.

Looking For Freelance Writing Projects

I've been looking for some freelance writing projects. But I can't put a web site up because it will conflict with my day job. I'm afraid to put my resume out because, in my experience, it will get back to my employer. Small town, small industry. If anyone has any ideas about where I could get some project work without having to identify myself, I'd love to hear from them. I'm not looking for consulting, because it's hard for me to get away during the day. Strictly freelance work is my goal. What kind of portfolio should I put together?

Staycation: New Jersey is the Perfect Place for It

Is there anyone who's ever enjoyed a real Staycation? Staying home not to get things done, or because you are broke, but to really enjoy your hometown. I live in New Jersey. I had never been to the Statue of Liberty. We planned the whole week, plays in New York, all-night diners with cake and pudding stacked miles high. My husband wanted to hit the book stores for science fiction. I spent most of my money on gifts for the kids. He bought me a T-shirt with "New Jersey" decorated with flowers and vegetables grown here in the Garden State.

Crooked Psyche

Yesterday I listened to a talk by Kevin Kelly, the ethnographer. He was talking about how technology has change the way we think dramatically. That we cannot imagine a world without technology, is something that we hear a lot these days. But, the fact that we have deliberately shaped ourselves – mind and body both – by inventing new technology throughout history is a little new. The very fact that we cannot live about technology means we cannot think what would have been without it. So, our psyche is crooked and we cannot be totally ‘rational’ about anything.

Satisfaction

For every man , satisfaction is the most needed thing in life. Because there many things for life to be happy like money, vehicles, clothes, fashions. But most important is satisfaction. If the man has it then he is really a happy man in this imaginary world. because every person has to leave all belonging here on the earth. Only his sins and bad works go with him. That is true. In this world there are many kind of people who had different moulds and habits and they possess the goods according to their moulds. But I think satisfaction is the best.

Marrying in the Holiday Season

Getting married during the Holiday season is so delightful. Everyone's in a jolly mood and they seem capable to forgive everyone who crosses them in the past. The Holiday ambience is an added feeling of euphoria to the feeling of getting married. You can feel the blessings that everyone is sharing. But when it comes to choosing your wedding favors, you may also encounter running out on ideas. Almost every product you can think of is being wrapped as a gift for someone. It is normal to look for something unique. Instead of looking at the usual things being given as wedding gifts, why not look for something that shows you got married during a Holiday season. It will always remind your guests of the season you got married, as well as remind you that one particular Holiday season was doubly special for you and your partner.

Chicken Swiss style!

I recently ate dinner at Swiss Chalet Rotisserie.  It is a chain restaurant which is catered towards family style dining.  Swiss Chalet is not fast food as you sit at a table with a server and must pay a tip when you finish.  But it is also not a fine dining restaurant. Much like a Denny’s or TGIF, Swiss Chalet aims to be good food at good prices.  Of course most of the dishes are their signature chicken.  What I like about this restaurant is that the dinner specials come with more than enough selection to please anyone.  My favorite is a quarter leg dinner with mash potatoes, gravy, a salad, butter roll, skewer of shrimp and Swiss Chalet dipping sauce. All for under ten dollars you can’t go wrong.

The Tote You Need

Mom has this propensity to collect promotional tote bags from different business and product launches. I sometimes wonder why does she like collecting those. I really cannot appreciate this habit of hers until one occasion. I have to spend three nights for some training on youth formation and I was really having a hard time looking for a bag big enough to hold my things. I wanted everything to be in one bag but the traveling bag I have does not allow that. Then I remember those promotional tote bags Mom likes to collect. And you know what? There was something there that was big enough to hold everything. Thank God for Moms like her!

My Life

If I didnt have to work ever again I think I would start writing a collection of books.  I have been contemplating doing that for years but I just can find the time between my husband, kids and work.  If I didnt have to go to work I would have more than ample amount of time to focus on my book writing. So yes, if I never had to work again I would definitly find a nice spot to spend my  lazy days louging and writing my books.  Book after book I would write and try to sell.  Plus on a bonus note if Im not working I would have no income coming in so if I sold my books that would also support me!

Niagara Falls

Spending summers on vacation has to be the fondest memories I have of my parents throughout the years.  Every single summer from the year I was born until the year I moved out on my own we had a family vacation with myself, my Mom, and my Dad.  Since I was an only child there were many years that theyw ould allow me to invite a cousin or a friend to go with us, which was great for me!  My parents loved to spend every few summers in Niagara Falls.  My parents spent their Honeymoon there and always loved to go back.  We rode the Maid of the Mist there, took the gorge across the Niagara River, spent time on Clifton Hill.  I have many many awesome and amazing memories in Niagara Falls, Canada and I do honestly believe that these are some of the fondest memories of my parents!

Wedding to Remember

My cousin who is now based in Japan will be married soon to her Japanese fiancé. They invited us to go to Japan to witness their special event. Everyone in the family is so excited for this event. My grandma said it will be a wedding to remember. Well of course it is a happy event but I believe what makes it more special is that we will witness a new tradition.
My cousin called the other day and she mentioned that they are now picking wedding favors and she loves a cute Japanese doll to give to her guests. I think that would be really cool. I am sure I will be able to help her once we arrive there next week.
For now, everything is set and we’re just waiting for our flight to Japan next week.

Early Memories

My fondest memories of my parents are unique because my parents are divorced so many of these memories of my parents of them apart.  My fondest memory of my dad is the many times he took me camping and fishing when I was young.  This has helped me to grow fond of outdoor experiences as I have grown into an adult.  My fondest memory of my mother is the times that we would go back to school shopping over the years.  It really gave us time to bond and enjoy this time of year together.  We had chances to talk and do girly stuff together.

New in the Corporate World

I am happy that I got hired in one of the formidable companies in the country. I know that I have to prove myself more but I am willing to take one step at a time until I finally achieve the top.
Last Tuesday, my supervisor asked me to accompany her in one event of clients and advertisers. She said it’s like a training ground and an overview for me to see the real world. I am glad she invited me because I learned a lot. I am so amazed with the speeches of distinguished guests and I must say the promotional products are really gorgeous too.
I am looking forward to many events like this. Hopefully next time I will be able to share them my story of success too.

Cheap Promotional Pens

Giving away cheap promotional pens is a nice idea for giveaways or party souvenirs. Not only are these good for the budget of the event organizers but also really useful for the guests. Last month, I attended a lecture on Journalism101 where I received a personalized pen as giveaway. First of all, the pen as giveaway was really appropriate for the lecture since it’s all about writing and ways to write. Lastly its personalized pen and it has the quote “pen is always mightier” which I find really great and amazing. Well, with that I realized cheap promotional pens can be a lot interesting once personalized. So, if I were to ask it is definitely recommendable to give away pens but of course with some personal touch.

SAVE MONEY

The current recession has taken away all those sad men’s jobs, has alarmed all those business giants that even the best can go down at times. Recession has been the buzz word for the past few months and the world is getting prepared to face another one with more intelligent strategies. From my view recession is a warning for the credit card users to go back to piggy bank. Recession has taught us the need for savings and the need for utilizing resources judiciously. Recession is actually a blessing in disguise from my point of view. It reemphasized the ancient principle of saving money and gave us an alarm before we went into complete chaos.

Interesting Wedding Favors

Never knew wedding favors can be really interesting like in the last wedding I attended with my mom. It was actually a wedding of my mom’s officemate who is half Asian. She was half Chinese and half American but since she was 12, she’s been in America and now just got married to American. Their wedding was really fun it has an Asian theme for obvious reasons. But boy oh boy I couldn’t believe there was so much interesting stuff as their wedding favors. They have cherry blossoms chopsticks which are really cool and some Chinese dolls for giveaways. According to mom, the bride is really into arts and crafts so she made sure to be as creative as possible in her wedding. I guess that’s one of the most amazing weddings I’ve ever attended and interesting wedding favors too.

Happening City

At present I live in Mumbai, India. Mumbai is a great city to live and I simply love Mumbai.  The city offers us plenty of opportunities and all people living here can do something to earn a living.  The city is well known for Gateway of India. Apart from this the city has a number of tourist attractions such as temples, museums, art gallery and sea beaches. The tourists flock to the city throughout the year. Local trains are the main means of transportation and people commute to work in local trains. The city is very neat and clean and the people are ready to help each other. I simply love Mumbai.

Salwar Kameez

Since today was a working day and I had to go to office I had put on a salwar kameez. I have to go to office dressed in formal dresses so I usually prefer to wear sober light color dresses to the office. I usually don’t prefer to wear dark vibrant colors to office unless there is some party in the office. I go to office dressed in a simple way and I don’t wear matching fashionable items like bangles, necklace, designer bindis etc. After coming back from office I change to a night suit as I don’t have to go out anywhere.  Night suit is the best comfortable dress to wear in the night.
